We were tasked with enhancing Murway’s online presence and providing their car rental customers with a few tools to simplify their interaction with the company. Making use of a wootheme, which we edited to suite their needs, we setup a site which allows customers to browse their car rental vehicle groups with their rates and features, and to then send through a hire booking via an advanced booking form. We slightly modified the WooTheme with some Background images to give it a local Cape Town flavour as requested.

The Booking for was split into pages to simplify the completion of the form and to prevent customers from becoming overwhelmed with too many form fields all at once. We’ve also provided current weather and currency converter widgets to help customers further.

The Contact page provides contact and address details, a simple contact form for asking general questions, directions to Murway’s premises as well as a Google Map with physical direction or route planner on it from the City Centre and the Airport. The Contact Page further employed wootheme’s shortcode layout to create a 2 column page layout. We made some theme edits to provide the options of having pages without either no sidebar or 1 sidebar as opposed to the standard 2 sidebars which the Productum Woo Theme comes with.

All in all the client was happy and we were able tp provide a solution within the clients budget making use of a mixture of Free and Premium WordPress tools which included a Wootheme, Gravity Forms Plugin, Testimonial, Currency and Weather Plugin, Google Analytics displaying in the dashboard and a few other little touches for a site which is sure to enhance Murway’s lead generation and client service.
